Really happy with how this one came out. I tried a different style with drawing humans, something that's always been a weakness of mine, and I think I like the simplicity of it. Could never really get eyes right anyway.

Anyway, this character does not have a name yet, so she'll have to go by "Boxeroo" for now. Hope she doesn't mind. She is based off Kigurumiko, a character from Sailor Moon (which I never actually watched, just found some of the creatures interesting), and a few art pieces created by :iconnibblahfrog:

She's kind of a mix between a dingo, a kangaroo, and a werewolf in terms of appearance. I didn't have the two canines in mind when drawing her, but she definitely doesn't have kangaroo ears and she stands more upright than real kangaroos do, so I guess they fit. Kind of.

As far as abilities go, she has sort of a suction pouch that works kind of like those old Chinese finger trap toys, except less brittle. Once she's stuffed someone in, it's nearly impossible for them to get out on their own power. I mean, if someone had a jetpack or something they could probably manage it, but presumably she'd remove that and any other weapons before putting them in. On the plus side, it's warm and very secure. Even when she's clearing houses in single bounds, the pouched individual is unlikely to experience extreme dizziness.

Her boxing gloves function quite like Kigurumiko's in that they're energy draining. A well-aimed punch can practically suck all the energy out of an opponent, something she takes full advantage of when someone threatens her or her "joey." In addition, the "joey" is forced to mimic her punching motions.

Whether or not she'd be pleasant to be around really depends on her opinion of you. She's quite fond of humiliation, often treating her joeys as naughty children and draining their energy if they start to get unruly. This is a method of training them to be obedient to her without needing to resort to exerting influence over them via the attachment the pouch creates.

But on the plus side, if you're a good joey or someone she's not interested in pouching, she can be quite friendly to have around and a great ally to have in times of need.
